Round 2 had some obvious things occur such as the Bengals taking Andy Dalton and the 49ers take Colin Kaepernick. The biggest surprise was Da'Quan Bowers slipping all the way to 51st

The draft definitely had surprises, including the Titans selecting Jake Locker, The Vikings selecting Christian Ponder, and Nick Fairley sliding all the way to the Lions. Also, there was some confusion with the Ravens. They traded picks with Chicago, but Chicago never reported it and the Ravens didn't get a pick. Watch the second round at 6:00 tonight!

The draft is tonight! Be sure to watch at 8:00 p.m. tonight! At least watch the first round to see where the good prospects go.

Playoffs

So we are nearing the end of the first rounds for both the NHL and NBA, and the only NBA team that got swept was the New York Knicks, and the only NHL team that got swept was Phoenix. Series to watch: Boston vs Miami (NBA) and Philadelphia vs Boston (NHL)

The lockout is officially lifted. Most teams aren't letting their players workout yet. This is good news for fans because now they can see games without worry. Also, the draft is nearing closer. Be sure to at least watch the first round!

NASCAR

Talladega is always fun to watch. Today was no exception as Jimmie Johnson beats Clint Bowyer by .002 seconds, tying the closest finish in NASCAR history. The top six drivers were within .1 of each other, which was very exciting to see. Carl Edwards remains the points leader as he finished 6th.

Matt Kenseth wins at Texas, ending his winless streak of 76 races. Texas was good for Roush Fenway Racing, when David Ragan qualified on pole, and Matt winning the race. Carl Edwards finished 3rd, keeping him at the to of the points standings. Polesitter David Ragan finished 7th. Greg Biffle finished 4th

Baseball

So its been a few games for teams, and there are many surprises like Tampa Bay and Boston only winning their first game recently. Other surprises are Baltimore and Cleveland Lead their divisions, especially Baltimore because of powerhouses like New York, Tampa, and Boston.

NCAA Basketball

UConn prevails as they defeat Butler in the Championship game. Jim Calhoun becomes the oldest coach to ever win the title. Butler lead after the half, but UConn took over, going on a 22-3 run. Jim Calhoun now joins an elite group of coaches that won more than 3 titles. For the second year in a row, Butler slips and loses the championship

Kevin Harvick wins his second race in a row, passing Dale Earnhardt Jr. with 4 laps to go. Denny Hamlin was clearly the favorite, but pit strategy backfired. Kyle Busch dominated, only to be passed late again to lose the race. Busch has been passed late and lost to Jeff Gordon, and Kevin Harvick twice.

NCAA Basketball

UConn escapes Kentucky 56-55. Kemba Walker was dominant, with 9 points, 6 assists, 3 rebounds in the first half. But Kentucky made a run with multiple 3-pointers in the second half, cutting the lead to single digits. But the key was the Kentucky only made 4/12 free throws. Now UConn faces Butler for the notional title. Butler wins!

NCAA Basketball

Butler advances to the Championship round for the second year in a row, defeating VCU 70-62. Butler was denied their championship last year against Duke. This year may be no easier as Kentucky or UConn will take on the Bulldogs.
